Introducing the NSFW tag

TG has never particularly shied away from adult content, but I thought it would be a good idea to make things a little more clear. While I assure you this will not turn into a porn comic, the current party storyline will be the most NSFW (Not Safe For Work) to date.

Whether you follow on Facebook, Twitter, or via RSS) keep an eye on the subject lines for the new (NSFW) designation. I’ve already applied it to a few comics in the archive, but the upcoming comics kick it up a few notches nudity-wise.

You’ve been warned!

  1. A fine, fine idea! I tag certain comic posts with words like sensual, nudity, or adult situations, but I can’t recall if I’ve ever tagged one with NSFW. It’s a great idea to put it in post titles too! Thanks!

This is relevant to my interests.

  3. Not a bad idea. I already have a little warning on my site (as you have) that some comics (the one I put out today, for example) tend to get NSFW in nature. I’ve always given TLT a treatment similar to an R-rated film, and I try to keep the subject matter within those guidelines (e.g. such as nudity, it’s matter-of-factual and not blatantly graphic).

    1. If we’re going on nudity levels alone my comic would be PG-13 (aside from the NSFW version of 106, of course.) But I have WAY more than just one F-bomb.

I don’t think I’ll ever get super-graphic, at least not in TG, but there’s still going to need to be a warning at times.
